We’re delighted to be able to share some exciting developments for dog enthusiasts and their canine companions. ‘Our Countryside Rocks!’ is all about having a fabulous weekend of family fun, and of course that includes the dog.

Our Countryside Rocks! World of Dogs is a world of adventure created specifically for you and four-legged companions providing a host of dog friendly activities, watering holes and safe spaces to play and learn new skills.

The British Associations for Shooting & Conservation have confirmed they will be hosting a number of exciting events for gundog owners of all levels of ability including a working test, a series of gundog scurries and a gundog clinic and demo area for handlers to get the very best advice from the most knowledgeable experts in the field.

And yet another exciting announcement this week is The Countryman’s Weekly Terrier and Lurcher Champion of Champions will also return to Weston Park in Spetember. Organised and run by the Coursing Crew, the Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions is arguably the worlds most prestigious event for earth and running dogs, with a multitude of showing classes and field events including simulated coursing, straight racing and hurdles.

We are working closely with organisers of our working dog activities to create dedicated parking areas and campsites to make the events more accessible for competitors with multiple dogs. Further details will be announced in due course.

But perhps you’re not a competitive handler, but still want to get involved and have a little fun. If so, local charity The Dogs Trust will be running their popular dog school, fun dog show, have-a-go agility alongside fun games and tombola’s. All funds raised go towards supporting the rehoming of dogs in the West Midlands.

Alongside fun and interactive activities for you and your dog there will be a great selection of shopping opportunities! From handmade leatherwear for you and your dog to luxury memory foam beds, drying coats, leads, collars and more…

There’s never been a more exciting day out for you and your dog!
